Jessica and Chris met through mutual friends, thereafter they remained friends for approximately 6-8 years. When the timing was right they finally started dating. 

​

Chris had Jessica's friends tell her they were going out for a girls night however, not where they were going. They arrive at Belle Aisle where one of her friends popped up out of nowhere. Jessica started asking questions when she walked out onto the pier, heard their song playing, where Chris got down on one knee (with a heart made of candles and a bouquet of roses) to pop the big question!
