What does a wedding planner do before the wedding?

When you hire a wedding planner, they are with you and will guide you through each step of the planning and management process

What does the wedding planner do on the wedding day?

oversee vendor set up, Point of contact person, managing mother nature, watch the clock,....... behind the scenes

What is the difference between a venue coordinator and a wedding coordinator?

A venue coordinator works for the venue, and a wedding planner works for the couple. A venue coordinator........ A wedding coordinator... oversees

I don’t need a wedding coordinator, they are expensive. I have a friend/family member who said she would help at my wedding. That's the same right?

A coordinator is an investment to ensure ____________ while taking the stress and duty off of you and your loved ones. As helpful as your friends and family will be throughout your journey to wedding day planning, they should be able to celebrate with you rather than working your event for you. They will have so much to do they won’t even be able to enjoy your day along side you. On the other hand, they may not have the _________ expertise or attention detail to execute a seamless event.

There is a lot of talk about the “Day Of Service”. Can you share the misnomer of the title “Day of”?

What makes your service different than other Planners/Coordinators?

Truthfully I do not call it "Day-Of" as there is no possible way to just show up on the day of and start working.  A coordinator still needs to meet with the couple prior to the actual day to gather information and details so that he/she can be the point person for the bride & groom ensuring that everything goes smoothly as well as be able to properly execute their vision and run a successful event. It takes much more time to review and revise a Bride/Grooms' wedding day timeline and chain of events for not only them, bridal party but vendors included! My services actually begin 4-6 weeks prior to your date with building a custom timeline, vendor/bridal party coordination, rehearsal evening schedule creation including 1-hour on-site coordination, and more. On the day-of I arrive 1.5+ hours prior to the ceremony to begin coordinating.

A venue coordinator works for the venue, and a wedding planner works for the couple. A venue coordinator........ A wedding coordinator... oversees

As a vendor, what are the benefits to working with a wedding coordinator such as yourself?

So often I am told by brides and other vendors that I am very easy to work with and very professional and friendly. I am flexible, hardworking and.... improvise.  We are all there for the best interest of the bride & groom. It’s so important to work as a team on the wedding day with all vendors making sure everything goes well and to ensure a smooth & flawless event.
