Hi there! I am so glad you are here. I take great pride in my work and like to get to know my potential couples - so it is only fitting that I share a little (or a lot) about myself. I was born and raised in the Great Lakes Bay Region however, as previously mentioned I have recently relocated to my husbands hometown of South Lyon, MI. I am a 2017 Central Michigan University Alumna with a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Event Management with an emphasis in Commercial Recreation, along with a business minor in Professional Sales. I have become Internationally Certified in Wedding Planning, Internationally Certified in Event Planning and have been a Certified Planner/ Coordinator/Consultant since May 8, 2017 when I started my 30-week unpaid internship with a local wedding/event planning company.
Upon completing my internship with Splendid Events Company alongside my wonderful mentor, Andrea, all while remaining a member of their team years after graduation, to now operating my own company - I have completed my dream of becoming a full-time, professional and fully certified Wedding/Event Planner and Coordinator.
In my free time I enjoy reading, crafting, interior decorating and home organization. In addition to planning a variety of life’s celebratory events, of course. It is a wonderful thing when passion meets work and I am beyond grateful for a career that frees me from the typical 9-5 schedule, allows me to travel and visit unique or historical venues across my home state, as well as work with all romantic couples in love - bringing their dream wedding day vision and goals to life!
While I am very passionate, motivated, creative, detail focused, organized and innovative, I am also very family oriented, adventurous and a lover of Michigan’s great outdoors. During the summer months you will find my husband, three husky pups and I at our parent(s) lake house(s), enjoying the many water sports the lake life has to offer. During the winter months you will find me working at our family owned Deer Processing business or chasing the snow in hopes of a weekend away snowmobiling.
